Cosmetology MEDIDERMA

The skin care techniques by MEDIDERMA include a range of chemical peeling methods (from superficial up to medial-depth peel). 20 years ago the group of experts in the field of dermatology and biochemistry guided by Dr.Serrano founded the laboratory specialized on production of such treatments. The goal of this laboratory was elaboration of the high quality innovative treatments for the professionals in dermatocosmetology.

At the present moment the laboratory has turned into a powerful concern helmed by Dr.Serrano, the Head of the Clinical Dermatology Department in the Central Hospital of the University of Valencia, Spain, and a member of the American and the European cosmetology academies. The high quality treatments produced by the concern are widely known through all over the world. The innovative projects focus on such problems as acne, biological and photo-ageing, seborrheic dermatitis, vitiligo, venous lake, trichological problems, etc. The laboratory specializes in manufacturing chemical peelings for the treatment of various pathologic skin problems. Cosmeceutics MEDIDERMA are protected by an international patent class “NON-IRRITATING COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS”. MEDIDERMA peels are highly efficient, hypoallergenic, well-balanced in acid concentration and PH and are produced in accordance with international standards of the pharmaceutical manufacturing. Chemical peels are a transparent evidence of cosmeceutics evolution.

Nowadays, MEDIDERMA produces the widest range of the chemical products in the world (more than 30 types): from superficial up to deep peels.

Many peels out of this range are know-how products. For instance:

1) Lactic Acid Peels – provide a mild peeling and sebostatic effect, prevent the development of the inflammatory progress, stimulate synthesis of ceramides and fibroblasts which are responsible for glicosamineglycan synthesis; stimulate fibroblasts’ activity in collagen, elastin and fibronectin production which rejuvenates the skin; the peeling procedure has a slight depigmenting action (inhibits tyrosinase);

2) Mandelic Acid Peels – stimulate collagen synthesis and cellular regeneration; provide anti-microbial and anti-seborrheic effects; resolve the problem of acne (slight and medium severity). Strong anti-bacterial effect provided by mandelic acid is similar to the effect of the antibiotics of the macrolides group. Mandelic acid peels are also ideal as a preparative measure for medial chemical and mechanical peeling.

3) Jessner skin peels – contain resorcinol, lactic and salicylic acids, depigmenting agents (kojic and citric acids, hydroquinone); all the peels of this group have an oil-regulating effect, help break down blackheads and whiteheads, reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring, smooth wrinkles, provide luminous skin, regenerate skin; they represent an optimal preparative treatment before laser polishing as they prevent scars and hyperpigmentation.

4) Salicylic Acid Peels – result in ceratolitic, sebostatic, comedolytic and anti-inflammatory activities; being a BHA salicylic acid stimulates cell turnover more intensively than AHA, resulting in a long-lusting effect, it renders to a skin soothing and anti-wrinkle effect.

5) Piruvic acids peels – exfoliate the skin more efficiently without its dehydration; take a powerful anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect

6) Retinol (Yellow) Peels – rejuvenate skin, fighting against biological and photo-ageyng, hyperpigmentation, melasma, helping to fade scars, acne, they accelerate cell regeneration and cell rejuvenation, stimulate blood circulation in derma, activate synthesis of proteins, improve immunological status of the skin, stimulate increasing collagen and elastin production.

Each of the above-mentioned peels is represented in several concentrations and combinations with active natural additives which enforce the effects of the key ingredients in the peels’ formulas.
